My all time favorite band is 10 meters. During the high part of the solar cycle I have
worked many of the continents. Highlights being: contacting Germany and Japan
on just 3.5 watts. I have dedicated monoband antennas for 10 meters.
I operate mostly on SSB. It has been quite a long time since I've been on CW, so
I'm not on that mode much, just to listen for beacons.
You'd most likely catch me on 10 meters when the conditions are going.
I also operate on 2 meters and 440.
Recently I've been on all the bands 160-10, because I have those capabilities with
the Yeasu FT-857.
