927.1250 Repeater ~ KD6LVP Repeater

Repeater moves Frequency:

   Thanks to the hard work, Tom Apel, K5TRA. Oregon now has a new band plan which includes repeater operations from 902/927.1125-902/927.9875. With this opening of repeater pairs, the KD6LVP repeater has moved to 927.1250 from 927.725.


Space Shuttle Broadcasts:

   The repeater will be broadcasting Space Shuttle audio mostly through IRLP Reflector 9877. Broadcasts of Shuttle audio is 2 hours before launches till a half an hour after landings. Below are the Shuttle missions for 2008.

5:24 a.m. PDT Shuttle Atlantis ~ HST Servicing STS-125 will be the fifth and final space shuttle mission launched to service and upgrade the orbiting Hubble Space Telescope. Seven astronauts will conduct five spacewalks, or extravehicular activities, to upgrade and enhance Hubble's capabilities in a 11-day flight.
November 10th, 2008 6:28 p.m. PST Shuttle Endeavor ~ ISS ULF2 STS-126 will be the 27th U.S. mission to the International Space Station. The Flight will deliver equipment and supplies with a reusable Mult-Purpose Logistics Module.


Expanding and linked:

    There is current plans to link the KD6LVP repeater to a new repeater (planned installation of spring 2009) on Goat Mountain above Clackamas full time. This will provide great coverage to the eastern side of the valley. More detail to come.
