Club Meetings
Notice!!   Our monthly meetings for 2007 have been cancelled
, but we occasionally meet at 7:00 pm on the third Tuesday of each month.   If you are interested in contacting a club member or have any amateur radio question, please use the e-mail address below. Replace the 'at' of course.

Board Meetings
The informal meeting that were held on the first Saturday of every month 8:00 AM at the Kettle on 332 have also been discontinued.

We are working with the new Brazoria County EC (Sarge, see the ARES link) to  rebuild the ARES capability.   Contact Sarge if you want to help.
Here are the frequencies of our repeaters:

2 meters: 147.380 / 147.980 Tone 110.9
70 cm: 444.900 / 449.900 Tone 141.3

NOTE!  Our 70 cm has been repaired and now has an HT range of about 17 miles and a mobile range up to 45 miles.  We have had solid signal reports from mobiles all the way to Pearland on the Northeast side and to Needville to the Northwest.  The 70 cm repeater is normally linked to the 2m repeater.

Our 2 meter repeater is operational but currently has limited range due to antenna issues.  A replacement antenna has been acquired and will be swapped at the next available tower climb in 2006.

BARC Club net every Thursday at 8:30pm on 147.380+
ARES net every Monday night at 8:00pm on 147.340+ (103.50) and 444.425+ (103.50)
