All About Me...

Hello,
The handle here is Andy. My QTH is located just outside of Cleveland, Ohio, USA. I just love the Amateur Radio Hobby! I am a member of the Lake Erie Amateur Radio Association and I currently hold a Technician class license, but I am studying for my General. Right now, I can operate 6 meters, 2 meters, 1.25 meters, and 70cm all mode. The Repeaters that I monitor around here are 145.29, 442.125, 145.15, and 446.55/S(P.L. 67.0) which is my IRLP node(4976). My IRLP node is located at my home QTH so you will be able to get a hold of me very easily! All that you need is a Radio and you can chat with people around the world!  Check out my IRLP status page at: http://status.irlp.net/IRLPnodedetail.php?nodeid=4786. The N3OYQ-R on 442.125(+ and PL82.5) is enabled with Echolink and the node number for that is 37432.  It has some awesome coverage!  I also monitor simplex on 144.200(USB) and 50.125(USB).  You might hear me as an Aeronautical Mobile sometime...I love to work simplex up there (for some reason you get awesome coverage...LOL). If I am up, I usually will be on the FM calling frequencies. You'll probably find me on 146.52, 223.5, and 446.0. Some projects that I hope to complete building a G5RV for HF when I upgrade, and I will be putting up a discone antenna and an M2 Hoop for 2 meters SSB!  Feel free to drop me an email at
[email protected]. Let me know how you like the site.  Hope to catch you on the air soon! Check out the pictures in the photo album. Also, check out my Weather Page, which is the live weather here in Strongsville, Ohio; and don't forget to check out my Links Page!!
