If you order QSL cards from WX9X do not assume they have ALL of your information correct. I did both and they spelled my county wrong and got my grid square wrong. I saved my order form and I did not mispell my county and I did not give them the grid square they printed on the cards that arrived two months after placing the order.
9-28-97 Got my No Code Tech Ticket.
5-17-98 Got My Tech Plus and Passed My General Written.
9-27-98 Got My General Class Ticket.
11-28-98 Got My Advanced Class Ticket.
5-29-99 with my Extra Class written passed
Almost daily Paul Harvey reports a news item of some terrible deed
affecting one or many people in the name of religion or country.
He always starts this one news item by saying "You can't have self government without self discipline"Amateur radio is governing itself more and more, do we discipline ourselves both personally and collectively?
Do we argue every little nuance of the hobby to "keep it pure" or to get our fifteen minutes of fame.
Isn't there room for every type transmisson interest on the bands?
Don't we need more people, modes, and experimentation on the frequencies we are trying to hold on to?
