Create A Story

This is, as the above title so boldly explains, the "holy ground" in CyberYarn QTH...where a new story has the chance to come to life. Here, you can create a story that will sit on this site and be embroidered upon by many Hams for better or for worse. As it may be assumed, creating a story is just a tad more complicated than writing a chapter. Before you start a story, be sure to read the Story Guide because the same rules apply to creating a story as do writing a chapter. It is also a good idea to read the Stories already here so you can get a good idea of what I'm looking for. Of course, before you get started, make sure you have some sort of idea of what the story will be like. I'm not going to be able to accept all story ideas because if there are too many stories up, chances are each one is going to have less chapters and end up less developed.

Below is the form for starting a story. I need the title of the story, who you are, and your e-mail address so I can contact you about your story idea. I also need a small paragraph-long blurb that tells a little about your story to put below the link to your story on the Stories Page.

Now just write the first chapter of your story. This is pretty similar to adding a chapter to a different story, except you are setting the stage for a story that will hopefully go on for a long time. Keep this in mind when writing the chapter...the broader the choices and storyline is, the better chance there will be that people will add to your story.
