If you're a new ham or new to DMR you need to get a DMR user ID from RadioID.net, to do this you must get your call sign verified, below are the steps to do that

BrandMeister requires your DMR user ID be "verified" by RadioID before you can create an account and use their network with a hotspot

DMR ID's issued in the past by DMR MARC will need to be verified by RadioID they are in control of this now. Your current DMR user ID will work on the air using a repeater but not a hotspot

You will need plenty of patiences dealing with this site
The FCC web site is a typical Gov web site built and maintained by the lowest bidder




Step-1 Register with the FCC so you can download an "official copy" of your ham license so you can uploaded to RadioID
They do not except reference copies
because they are publicly available to download the "Official Copy" is not and requires you to log into the FCC and get it
