I just can't understand how judges and lawyers can interpret this amendment to prohibit prayer in schools and the Ten commandments on government property. Besides it is the people's property. It was never prohibited for 172 years after the constitution was ratified by the states. In that time the government never made any laws respecting religion and never suppressed it. So why the big flap about the Ten Commandments anywhere. My common sense tells me all those intellectuals who oppose teachers leading a prayer or saying "God" at school and the Ten Commandments on government property are blind-sighted by their own book larnin'.
