TWA Bylaw Changes - The second reading of changes in our TWA ByLaws were made at the April 16 meeting and the following changes have been accepted by unanimous vote of the members present.

Article II, Section 2(b) - The fiscal year for the Tamaqua Wireless Association will be from July 1st to June 30th.

Article V - DUES
1. Operating expenses for the Association shall be acquired by a member donation of ten dollars ($10.00) per year and payable during the month of May and June. After July 1st non paid up members shall be considered delinquent and dropped from the membership list. After a thirty day (30) grace period they shall be required to submit another application to rejoin the Association.
2. New members accepted after January 1st will be prorated and pay five dollars ($5.00) and placed on the regular annual dues ($10.00) paying list during the month of June.
3. A family membership is available where there is more than one licenses Amateur per household. A token fee of two dollars ($2.00) is paid for each additional Amateur license holder and will run concurrent with the sponsor member. They shall have the right to vote and hold office.

Those who have previously paid dues for year 2004 have been given an additional six month. Membership dues will not be collected again until May and June of 2005.

These bylaw changes were made to alleviate the extra expense around the holiday season. Please note, Nomination and election of club officers shall remain the same. Nomination in October, election in November and installation of officers at the December Christmas party.
