These are the links that I use most in conjunction with my ham radio hobby. Perhaps you will also find them useful

Buckmaster's World Wide HamCall Server This web site is invaluable for getting info on that DX Ham that you contacted. You can find out what country he is in, if he has a QSL manager it is usually listed here, and they sell a few items in which you may be interested. I use this call sign server most of the time, but I also use:

QRZ sometimes. I find that some Hams, like myself put up a short bio with a picture or a QSL card here.

Local time in New York, New York, USA Use this link for the Eastern Time Zone. I use this link to get my QSO time and the UTC time, all on one page.

Times Around the World - New York - Eastern Time , United States of America This is another site like the one above, for the Eastern Time Zone

Yahoo! Maps and Driving Directions Find out where that QSO originated with the ZIP code from the info at QRZ.

CQ Zones of the World Official Rules - The CQ WAZ Awards - you can also find what part of the world that DX prefix originated here.

50 States and Capitals This is a handy place to get the states listed alphabetically.

Times around the WORLD Find out what time it is anywheres in the world at this web site.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Home Page

A nice map or the USA, if you print it in black and white you can color in the states that you work as you go along. Map
