These two Official Observer reports were sent by the same Kilocycle Kop, Ed, for the same "rough tone" complaint over a span of 3½years. Interestingly, I was using different transmitters each time. And yes, I was having trouble with the transmitters at these times.
So thanks Ed. Without your diligence, I would never have experienced the thrills of receiving Official Observer reports.

52 Years after these OO reports were received, K9FH received another OO report. This time it was for having a signal with "chirps" while operating during the 2018 Novice Rig Roundup with a modified DX-20 transmitter and homebrew VFO.
And the modern OO reports for chirp just keep on coming! Chirp chip chirp chip, chirp chirp chip chirp!
