Repeaters On Hamilton Ridge
We had a repeater Party Tuesday and got the new Repeaters installed on Hamilton Ridge. 146.835 100 watts and 443.900 100 watts, they seem to be doing well despite a few bugs as well could be expected what with all the movement, changes and upgraded heavy duty rewiring we did. We even poured cement and put up a new mast for several new antennas for local linking and such. The KE6REA-3 "APRS Node" is back on with an increase in power and a different antenna. So far it also sounds super and should offer expanded coverage. The ALM Packed Node is not back on as we have not had time to find-fix the problem with the old unit nor get the new Macros loaded and set up. Anyway the Lassen Node is still working good and will link to Alturas, Reno and Redding although somewhat slower. Here are some pictures of the repeater site.
