My station(s) consist of the following radios


Base:
    2 Meters -    GE Phoenix-SX Scan (35 watts) on the Discone.
    1.25 Meters - Midland 13-509 on the J-Pole. (SOLD - no 1.25 Meter capabilities)
    70 Centimeters -  
Motorola Radius M208 - modified from the original 8 channels to 16 channels
                                    (35 watts) on the Discone.
    CB -     Royce-612 23 channel with a Solarcon A-99 on the roof.
    Antenna - Diamond Discone on roof.
    Antenna - 2m/1.25m J-Pole (Copper Cactus) in attic.
    DiPlexer - Pro-Am VHF/UHF with SO-239 connectors.
    Cable -    60 feet - Quad shielded EtherNet 'ThickNet' (RG-8 equivalent).

Mobile-1:
    2 Meters - GE Rangr-150 (110 watt version turned down to 50 watts) with a S-830
                control head programmed with 192 channels (12 modes X 16 channels per
                 mode).
    70 Centimeters -
Motorola Spectra (20-40 watt version) with "rotary" control head programmed with 128 channels.
    Antenna - Larsen 2/70 (NMO mount) dualband on roof for the GE Rangr and the Motorola Spectra.
    DiPlexer - Pro-Am VHF/UHF with SO-239 connectors.
    Scanner - Radio Shack 'pre-programmed' and has additional 50 user programmable memories uses stock
                    broadcast band antenna.
    Scanner - Bearcat 15 channel scanner uses the stock broadcast band antenna.
    CB -     GE 40 channel radio: Stock (soon to be a Midland 100-M).  Antenna - K40 on roof of the cap.
    GMRS - Midland XTR mobile using a black Antenna Specialists 6 inch glass mount antenna on the top right corner of the windshield.
    All 2-way radio speakers and both scanners are mounted on an overhead "Shelf-It" shelf using the sunvisor mounts.

Mobile-2:
    Amateur - 2 Meter - Radio Shack 25 watt mobile with a Larson 19 inch dual band NMO mount antenna.
    GMRS - Motorola Radius M206 on a plastic 'cutting board' with a mag-mount antenna and a 'cigarette lighter' plug.
                 This is contained in a nylon 'briefcase' with shoulder strap for portability.

    Any 2 Meter portable with a BNC antenna connector.
    Radio Shack 35 watt brick amp.
    Power - One or two 7Ah 12V gell cell battery (depends upon expected 'on air' time) carried in
                    'saddle-bags' on the rear 'book rack'.
   Antenna - MFJ "roll up" 2 Meter J-Pole attached to a fiberglass 'safety flag' with yellow heat shrink
                    tubing - attached to the rear axle.

Portable:
    2 Meters - GE MPD: 48 channels, turned down to 4 watts, modified for a BNC antenna connector.
                            Antenna -
MFJ-1717 with added counterpoise.
                   
Motorola MT-2000: 48 channels, turned down to 4 watts.  Antenna - stock 7 inch wideband (black insulator).
                    Radio Shack HTX-202: 4 watts, unmodified.  Antenna - MFJ-1717 with added counterpoise.
     70 Centimeters -  GE MPA-Select: 16 channels, 4 watts.  Antenna - stock 3 inch.
                 
Motorola HT-1000: 2 channel unit modified to have 16 channels,  Antenna - stock 7 inch wideband whip.
                  Radio Shack HTX-404: 4 watts, unmodified.  Antenna - Comet CH-725 with added counterpoise.
                  Alinco DJ-S41t: Stock.
    Scanner - Bearcat BC250-XLT (200 channel, 20 'banks')

Portable Base Station (emergency response):
    2 Meters - GE Rangr-150 (110 watt version turned down to 50 watts) with a S-830
                    control head programmed with 176 channels (11 modes x 16 channels per
                    mode).
    Antenna - Larsen PO-150 (5/8 wave, PL-259 mount) on a Larsen BSA (Base Station Adapter) ground plane kit.
    Antenna mount - Military guyed 40 foot 'portable tower' with tripod base.  (All parts except the tripod
                    base fit into a 5.5 foot X 12 inch X 12 inch carrying case)
    Power - 12 volt deep cycle batteries recovered from a 3 KVA Uninterruptable Power Supply.
                                 (approximately 60 Ah each)  Quantity: 2 to 6 depending on circumstances.
                   OR a running vehicle.
                   OR a 20 amp 12 volt power supply plugged into commercial power.
