Davidson County SKYWARN Active Nets on 146.670/R

SKYWARN is a program created by the National Weather Service. The primary purpose is to save lives and property. The idea behind this program is to have NWS-trained
weather spotters look for the visible signs of severe weather in their area, and then to report these sightings to the local NWS Field Office to provide adequate and immediate warning services to the general public.

Davidson County SKYWARN is an organization composed of interested individuals whose major purpose is to provide volunteer severe weather spotting services. We provide a means for filtering and directing reports from our members to the National Weather Service office in Nashivlle.
