W7ZOI/K7TAU Spectrum Analyzer - Beauty Shots

This section is titled "Beauty Shots" for lack of a better name. This has been one of the most interesting and most challenging projects I've ever worked on. Frankly, it is not for the faint of heart. It is roughly equivalent to working on 14 different projects that must all work together.

On the other hand, it has been the most interesting project and one of the best learning experiences I have ever had. Basically, a Spectrum Analyzer exercises most of the basic radio building blocks and demonstrates certain fundamentals like nothing else around. To actually see what is going on in a particular slice of spectrum is truly magic.

So, it is perhaps, with a bit of vanity that I show off my construction. But I assure you, this piece of equipment is in no way, "Pelf." It is, I think, an extremely useful piece of test equipment and will be most helpful in building many a-pelfic projects in the future.
