Welcome to the Web page of IK8MKK, My name is Mike, I wose born in 1952 Florence (Italy). My present Residence (QTH) is the Town of Casagiove (JN71de) in the province of Caserta (CE). I have been a radio amateur from the 2nd January 1975. At the time my licence was a special one, the callsign being IW8BLR.
In march 1988 i was given the actual callsign IK8MKK. My radio activities are on V-Uhf bands and for the past 6 year were mainly on the "Magic Band" 6 metres (50 MHz).
I am sysop on behalf of the A.R.I. (Italian Radio Association) section of Caserta, the local BBS IK8MKK-8 on frequency 144.975.
Most of the radio equipments in my shack are built by myself including the antennas, others can be seen on my web page.
I have also installed some links that can and could be of interest to the visitor.
I would like to thank my colleagues I8SKG, IK8AUC, IK8FPD and many more for the help given of many of radio construction scheme.
