S/V AUREO - VK4AGL/MM

Yvonne and Ralph transiting the Panama Canal during their cruise around the World in the year 2002. Yvonne made several contacts with our Net for WX during the Atlantic Passage from Cape Good Hope to the Caribbean sea.

 S/V Aureo is the big one on the photo.

S/V MARIBELL - LA7FAA/MM

LA7FAA  Per is one of the good friends of the Italian Net, Per is from Norway and he sailied solitaire toward South Atlantic with beautiful destinations in Brasil and Tropical Countries. The picture shows S/V Maribell at the anchor in Norway after the end of the voyage from Brasil.

S/V HELENA CHRISTINA   VP8DEH/MM

47 feet Steel Ketch, skipper is Captain Aad TWIGT. In the picture the vessel is rounding Cape Good Hope. Aad during his Passage between Falkland Island and Holland was in touch mainly with Jack - AA3GZ and also with our Net in the evening hours.

S/V SO LONG - N1QFE/MM

This is the crew of S/V SO LONG, Susanne and Tony with the ship boatswain Honey. SO LONG in the year 2001 was busy in the difficult Passage of Cape Horn from East to West. After a tour in the South Pacific SO LONG came back in the Atlantic acrossing the Ocean from West to East at the latitude of the roaring forties.

M/V JOLLY BIANCO - IK7TVE/MM

 Radio  Officer         Pasquale  DE CEGLIA     with his amateur radio callsing is often in touch with our Net when the ship is bound to West Africa. Pasquale is a very nice person with long experience in Radiocommunications at sea

M/V ISABEL KNUTSEN      M0CYA/MM - LA5RJA/MM       

Chief Engineer John STEINAR is a very good friend of the Italian Net updating his sailing plan when he is on board. We have followed the CHEMICAL CARRIER "Isabel Knutsen" during her voyages in the Atlantic and in the Indian Ocean

S/V TERRANOVA - PA3GKV/MM

Willem and his wife Cory sailing around South Georgia Island. TERRANOVA and her crew was very busy in the ocean Passage from VP8S Land to Hout Bay- South Africa. Willem had good daily contacts with our Net. During this busy Passage on board TERRANOVA there was a  third crew memeber Mr. Evert Mens from Netherlands.

S/V CINNABAR  -  GM0TOF/MM

Martin and Peta FARNWORTH owner of sailing Vessel CINNABAR moored in LA GOMERA with their friends on board, crews of three other vessels.They are fans of the Italian Maritime Net and also if some of them are equipped with a receiver only they stay in touch with the IARMS monitorizing our frequency. Good Winds to each one of them from Net staff.
