IC-M80, M100 & M120


Symptom: No TX, poor RX sensitivity.
Cure: Resolder cracked joints in VCO section.


Symptom: No RX/TX.
Probable Cause: PLL unlock.
Cure: Repair cracked solder in VCO sections.

IC-M56


Symptom: Flashing display.
Probable Cause: PLL unlock.
Cure: Repair cracked solder in VCO sections.

IC-M125


Symptom: Various logic-related symptoms including stuck in IC mode, no display, etc...
Probable Cause: Blown IC22.
Cure: Replace IC22


Symptom: When dial is pressed, radio goes to channel 70.
Probable Cause: Lithium battery is shorting to radio.
Cure: Replace IC22
