Another problem solved : dust\polvere in the 3cx800a7 tubes.


During the work in the PA to add the 30mt band I just saw that in the anode ventilation ribs there was some DUST
and of course I have blown the dust away.
After having reheated again the amplifier, I have noted soon that in ST:By the digital thermometer marked a full degree less than before.
So the hint is: clean the tubes every couple of years ....

Dopo aver rimesso in moto l'amplificatore ho subito notato che il termometro digitale che ho sull'uscita dell'aria calda
nei periodi di ST.BY la temperatura dell'aria era di quasi 2 gradi inferiore (25° vs 27°).
Questo significa che la pulizia delle alette di dissipazione è bene farla ogni due o tre anni
