Founded in honor and in memory of the original call sign holder, Bob Begley, W1KMG, of Hancock, Maine. Bob inspired and mentored many hams throughout his long life. Bob enjoyed cw (Morse Code), amateur radio and public service, trying different modes and aspects of the hobby, as well as being an “Elmer” to new hams. PHARG’s mission is to emulate Bob and continue that tradition of helping others and inspiring present and potential hams into embracing the Amateur Radio Service (Ham Radio)
