The Houston Amateur Mobile Society (HAMS) holds it's bi-annual meetings in January and July of each year.

Our next meeting is tentatively January 30, 2025 from 7pm - 9pm at the Pearland Public Library, 3522 Liberty Dr., Pearland, TX 77581

HAMS and it's member's dues support the incredible investment and extensive efforts of highly dedicated hams to provide more than 35 first class repeaters and digital services though-out the wider Houston, Beaumont, Galveston, and Katy area. About Houston Amateur Mobile Society (H.A.M.S.)

H.A.M.S purpose is to operate various radio repeaters along the Houston Gulf Coast to be used by licensed Amateur Radio Operators, to aid in emergency communications, to promote fraternity and friendship among members and to advance the goodwill, the general interests and the welfare of Amateur Radio in the community.

H.A.M.S has been a local ham radio club in the Houston and surrounding area since February 24, 1985.

We now have Echolink on several of our repeaters. You can now connect to these repeaters from PC via the internet, or smart phones via wifi or 3G/4G! You can download the Echolink software here!
