Two awards will be available during Maritime Radio Month
Award for the Commonwealth Area Stations Event
A special award is available for anyone who contacts or hears 4 or more areas (for a list
of areas, see the list of stations in thie event) or
countries outside their own country. Malta will be an exception in Area 1.
Walvis Bay (Namibia) will count as an additional area as will the QE2.
Award for the International maritime Coast Radio Station Event
Contact or log 10 participating stations over the weekend 10th/11th April 1999.
To obtain the award
Send:- Log extract. Mark it either "Area" or "Coast
Station"
Cost:- UK - �4.00 USA - $6.50 Euro 6.5
