The Mid Lanark Amateur Radio Society ( MLARS ) has two fully equipped radio shacks, with individual licenses.

GM1XOI   ( VHF )   &   GM3PXK   ( HF )

The VHF shack ( GM1XOI ) is equipped with an ICOM IC-821H dual band multimode, BNOS 100W 2m linear amplifier, 200W Homebrew 2m valve Linear, Palstar power supply,  Phillips 2m FM rig, 10 element X/Y Crossed yagi for 2m, 48 element parabeam for 70cm, dual band collinear ( 2m & 70cm ), Yaesu rotator/controller and desktop computer with logging/amateur radio software.

The HF shack ( GM3PXK ) is equipped with a Yaesu FT-920 ( HF & 6m ), Heathkit SB220 2kW linear amplifier ( Normally kept in the cupboard ), Watson power supply, Cushcraft 3 element beam for 10/15/20m ( 20m AGL ), ZX-Yagi 6 element monobander for 6m ( 23m AGL ), R7000 multiband vertical antenna, Yaesu rotator/controller and desktop computer with logging/amateur radio software.

( Shacks are available for use to all MLARS members; and to visiting amateurs/swl's ~ by arrangement and under supervision.)
