My name is Ted, am of 1923 vintage, I live in the city of Sheffield which is in the north of England. Loc IO93GI.

I have lived here all my life except for four years service in the Royal Air Force during WW2, most of my service was in this country along with one year (1946) in the middle east (Iraq).

I am retired and an ex-steelworker, still reasonably fit and well and enjoying retirement. I am married and have served 56 years, my wife and I have been together for 60 years, she is a little younger than me.(She says a lot).
