General Info

St. Hilda's Church Hall is our meeting venue, with effect from Wednesday 12th June, 2019.

The official address is:

St. Hilda's Church, Stanwell Road, Ashford, Middlesex  TW15 3QL

NGR: TQ 062 716
Maidenhead Locator: IO91sk

Directions by road

From the A30 - Ashford Hospital traffic lights.

Head towards Ashford town centre along the Stanwell Road.  Pass over a mini-roundabout.  When you see the rise of the railway bridge, take the right-turn filter lane to continue along Stanwell Road.  Go over the railway bridge to the mini-roundabout, where you should turn right.  The Church is standing prominently on the corner at the next mini-roundabout.  Go straight over and turn left into the church car park (24 spaces, incl. disabled-only).

From the A308 - Fordbridge roundabout.

Head towards Ashford town centre along the Fordbridge Road.  At the mini-roundabout (at the King's Fairway pub), turn left into the Stanwell Road.  After a few hundred yards, the church will be seen on the left.  Turn left at the mini-roundabout, then left again into the church car park.

Once in the car park, you will see the main church hall entrance.  We use the smaller hall, so proceed down the pathway between the church and the halls.  There are two doors on the right - the old Parish Office door, and the one to the right of it, which is the entrance to our meeting hall.  If it happens to be locked - unlikely during our meeting - we apologise.  Please use the intercom to buzz us, and someone will let you in.

Directions from Ashford (Surrey) SouthWestern Railway main-line station

(If arriving from the Windsor direction, cross over the foot-bridge to the booking hall side).

Leave the station via the booking hall, or the side-gate to the right of it if the booking hall is closed.

Cross the road, keeping to the right-hand side and walk 70 yards/metres to the cross-roads.  Turn right along Woodthorpe Road for about 350 yards/metres to St. Hilda's church.  The meeting hall is to the left of the Church.
