The PCB at the back of the picture is a resistive dropper consisting of 16 x 1 M Ohm 2 watt resistors. This board provides the control voltage for the HV OK line on the G3SEK triode board which I use for almost all my triode amplifiers. The copper plate is provided to make the transition between the coax cable and the vacuum relay. Keeping the tails short here will ensure a good through match when the amplifier is in standby, in transmit it is less important because the PI L network will tune out any reactance. All coax is PTFE, the large diameter cable has a woven cloth sheath which tends to fray, hence the heat shrink sleeving.
