The antenna was bought in 2002 from Christian Kaeferlein at a price of about Euro 1200 all included. Mounting was a matter of 15 minutes, however, with four hands.

Under good conditions it is suitable for worldwide BPSK work on 20m, however, on 80m its range is no more than about 1000 miles due to its reduced efficiency, due to its physical size.
