At my 2nd QTH i started to participate in the major vhf/uhf/shf contests together with the guys from the DARC OV X30. (OV Ilmenau). So far i was in two contests - one operating as DL5X and the 2nd one on my own callsign.

March Contest 2008 - DG7FEQ

QTH: JO50NP, Barigauer Hoehe

Weather conditions: severe storm, warnings from the weather service, power lines came down and it was quite a challange to setup the antenna equipement. On 70cm and 23cm we only had fixed directed antennas because it was too risky to set up two towers.
Score:
2m: 65 QSO, 10246 points
70cm: 19 QSO, 4365 points
23cm: 3 QSO, 168 points

    March Contest 2000 - DG2OOO

We were participating in the contest on 144 Mc. Because of the bad weather we set up our equipement in the forest next to the digipeater.
During the night we got 10cm of new snow on the mountain, which made it difficult to get down the equipement after the contest...
