November 13, 2014 Meeting Minutes

Bryan, VA3BRY, brought the meeting to order.

M.S.-Neil, VE3VNM; Ken, VE3VGM—the minutes of the September 10, 2014 meeting be adopted as read.  Carried.

M.S.—Scott, VA3EXT; Bob, VA3GUN—the financial statement as at November 3, 2014 be adopted as read.  Carried.

Old Business:

The Safety Harness for climbing towers has been ordered, however, it has not arrived as yet.

The VE3DRY building needs to be resided this summer.  A work party will be organized in the spring/early summer.

EmmCom Trailer—21 letters inviting donations were sent out. 

Pumpkin Patrol was quiet again this year.  Gate Night, we encountered poor weather.  10 members patrolled.  On Halloween Night, 9 members patrolled.  There were lots of parents accompanying  their children.

New Business:

Christmas Parade is Friday, Dec 5^th.  Meet at AWCL at 1800 to help position floats.  Parade starts at 1830.

Christmas Supper will be held Dec 10^th at the Dryden Flying Club.

Scott, VE3EXT, Technical Director, reported that Barry, Perth, ON, had donated three second-hand UHF Master-3 radios.  Some modification is required.

Digi-peaters are working OK.
