President Bob, VA3GUN, called the
meeting to order..
M.S.—Ken,
VE3VGM; Neil, VE3VNM—the minutes of the November 14, 2012 meeting be adopted as
distributed. Carried.
M.S.—Neil,
VE3VNM; Ted, VE3TBO—the Financial Statement as of December 31, 2012 be adopted
as distributed. Carried.
2012
Christmas Dinner was well attended.
Bob, VE3YDN,
advised the members that some of our magnetic signs need replacing.
We attach these to our vehicles for advertising the club when we
participating in various community activities.
M.S.—Neil,
VE3VNM; Ken, VE3VGM—the club purchase 4 magnetic signs..
Carried.
Scott had
reworked a quote for the EmComm Trailer.
Basic trailer cost 6250.00 with additional amounts for insulation, ramp,
doors and windows for a total of $8,000.00 plus taxes.
Garry,
VA3GPW, advised that the crank-up tower he had been considering for the trailer
was not available.
New Business
The
Eton-Rugby Winter Festival Dog Sled Races have been cancelled this year..
Scott,
VA3EXT, is planning to install an APRS digi at Ignace.
The Atikokan digi will pick up the signal and I-Gate it into the APRS
network.
M.S.—Jim,
VE3JLN; Garry, VA3GPW—the club purchase the Tiny Track 4 TNC needed for the
Ignace Digi-peater. Carried.
Neil,
VE3VNM, moved the meeting adjourn.
