Shortly after moving to Lone Jack, Missouri, I got my first tower. A 54' Trylon Tower with 16' of mast. I loaded it with a Force 12 C3S (later changed to a C4SXL) a 10 EL 2 M, a 2M/440 Beam. I called in a bunch of friends and hams. I had most of it prepared in advance and it went of without a hitch. I tend to think if it can be done without a lot of physical effort is should be. The tower was built and lifted onto the base with a boom truck thanks to a contractor friend. The Mast was preassembled on the ground and slid into the trust bearing at the top of the tower. The view in all directions is relatively clear.
