The story began when I finished fabricating the azimuth mechanism : It was midnight, and I couldnt resist installing and testing it on the pole up on the roof! : Here was the final job, a 9 RPM gearmotor to a 16:1 over-all reduction ratio. The final RPM was 0.5 : After installing the dish ring : and the dish (again, it was dark already, and I insist I should install the 3 meters diameter dish ribs myself alone!, dont try this at home!): Testing and putting together the position reading circuit. After finishing the Dish Control Box : Installing the Azimuth and Elevation Potentiometers : The complete setup after installing the linear arm and power/control cables : The Patch Feed Assembly, took me a while to fabricate a good and solid bracket out of an old TV antenna! Done.
