Pacific Crest Trail Repeater Guide

How to hit a repeater from the trail in Oregon & Washington

Compiled by AA6J Bill Jeffrey

Repeaters are listed south to north. Specific locations are given where repeaters have been found to work by hikers on the trail. Other repeaters might work somewhere on the trail in that area. Disclaimer: There is no guarantee that any of these repeaters will actually be in service or in range when you try to access it.

I also recommend you bring a list of repeaters that serve the cities along Interstate 5. I've generally excluded these repeaters. That doesn't mean you can't hit them from the crest, it just means I don't know. If you do know, please let me know.

I am not anywhere near as familiar with the trail in the Northwest as I am in California, so (1) use this info but don't rely on it and (2) please help by providing me with details of your experience. Thanks!
