My name is Pini (Pinchas) Aviv, I am 49 years old.
Originally from Italy, born in Rome and grown up near the city of Milan before coming to Israel at the age of 13.
Former Senior Vice President (2005-2008) of the International Radio Emergency Support Coalition and now the Liaison Officer
for the State of Israel.
Recently elected to the positions of IARC Board Officer, IARC Spokesman,
and IARC Emergency Management Coordinator Officer.
At the 2010 Annual IARC Members Meeting, I was very delighted to received
the Honorary Award of "HAM of the Year 2010 '' for my contribution
in promoting our Emergency Network System by building a successful cooperation with the Israeli Authorities, and enhancing the coordination
with International Emergency Networks and Organizations.
