The Ocean County Net was formed by local Hams in
Ocean County, New Jersey with some from neighboring Monmouth County as a HF gathering
place to ragchew. What started as a few local Hams ragchewing has grown into (conditions
permitting) a place where Hams from all over the Country and World gather to meet daily.
Our informal, no-list style is one of the attractions of our fast growing popularity . We
have even been told we are used as a Beacon to check propagation . Almost all topics are
welcome. Daily discussions can include from antenna theory to recipes and everything
in-between. We do this all in radio friendship and encourage all Amateurs to come aboard.
As our group grows so will this webpage, so please stop back often and catch you on '410.
