Moving On From The Foundation Licence.....
 

This website has been created to highlight my recent achievement of passing the 2nd stage UK Amateur Radio Licence.
I originally passed my Foundation Licence Exam on the 12th June 2015 with a callsign M6KNS.

Amateur Radio is a way of life, it's not only an interesting hobby but brings you into contact with some of the
most knowledgeable people you could wish to meet. I would like to say a big 'Thank-You' to all those people that have
not only helped me in this journey but have supported and encouraged me to advance my abilities to this level.
Once I had experienced the excitement of operating my own amateur radio station, I decided to make the commitment to encourage and introduce more people into the hobby, young or old. Now that I am an Intermediate Licence holder, I have registered with the RSGB as a Trainer for Foundation Candidates and as an Exam Assessor / Invigilator.
This will not only help me to achieve my goal of helping keen potential operators but will hopefully help take
some pressure from those volunteers that tirelessly offer their services to our local club and its members.
I am currently studying for my Full Licence with the BBADL Online Distance Learning Course with
the hope that I shall be taking my exam early in the new year, 2018.
