Tool
for antenna Q factor and Figure Of Merit
calculation as additional post procesing software for 4nec2, Eznec and similar
antenna simulation programs. These figures are
calculated by using and combining calculated, idealized, performances of antenna
(Gain, Input Impedance, SWR and Antenna Noise Temperature) that are simulated in
antenna software.

Input (grid or cathode) and output (plate) tube resistances
calculation according to its electrical characteristics, frequency, mechanical
dimensions and working conditions.

Inductance calculation for single layer, air-wounded coils and helixes up to about 800
MHz. Inductance calculations accuracy is around 1%.
Also, coils with maximum Q for given inductance, resonant RF chokes,
PI and T resistive attenuators calculations are provided. Skin effects, radiation losses
and other minor side effects are not accounted in maksimum
Q factor coils calculations. Program assumes using copper (Cu) enameled or silver
(Ag) plated wire. Program is writen bilingual in English
and Serbian.

Inductance calculation program for air-wounded coils and helixes up to about 800
MHz. Inductance calculations accuracy is around 2%. Skin effects, radiation losses
and other minor side effects are not accounted in Q factor calculations. Program assumes using copper (Cu) enameled or silver plated wire.

This program calculates impedance matching for tube and solid-state PA, LNA,
antenna match-box, interstage impedance matching and all other impedance matching
in electronic and telecommunication.

Warning:
Using of this program assumes
knowledge and experience in
constructions and projects. Program will always give some calculation results,
but how it will work in practice, and even whether will work at all, depends completely on user of the program, and so responsibility is
always on him.
