I have been a ham since 1967 and have just as much fun now as I did then. I am now 70 years old and just retired last May. Along with my ham hobby, I am into computers and networking. My first computer was an OSI Challenger back in the 70s. I’ve worked AM, FM, SSB, RTTY and Packet. I enjoy most, a good rag chew on HF SSB. My current station consist of a Yaesu FT-2000D transceiver, Ameritron AL-1200 amplifier, Heil PR-40 microphone and a MFJ-998 antenna tuner. I use a 40/80 meter trapped dipole antenna that works surprisingly well on the 10, 17 and 20 meter bands using my antenna tuner.

I am located in the south, west corner of Ohio, about 22 miles north of Cincinnati. The community is called West Chester, Ohio.
