 Is there a rule of thumb for how many stitching
 via's one should use to tie multiple GND
 planes together ??

 In my case my board is 1.4" x 2.4" with blind vias
 and the thru-hole stitching via's will be the only
 connection between the planes in the top half
 and bottom half of the board.
