I am replying to your Sr. Aps engineer opening but not directly.
I work for SiQual, a signal integrity consulting company. We have six SI
engineers on staff. We may not be able fulfill your aps engineer opening
but we can augment it significantly.
Utilizing our own software and hardware (Interconnectix and HSPICE) we can
assist in the design of your test boards. Once models are in place, we can
turn simulations overnight, e-mail results, assist with component placement
decisions, create routing rules (or even do the routing..another division
of our business has nine PCB layout designers, many with EE degrees and
most with >10 years of high-speed experience).
More importantly, we can directly help your customers incorporate your
gigabit interface cores into their systems and make them work!
This is not the same as a typical AE where who's expertise is the core and
they cannot take responsibility for other portions of the design. We can
step up to a complete system analysis and allow your AEs to concentrate on
what they know best.
Our business is assisting design teams make large and fast systems meet
their specs over environmental ranges, with production variations, etc.
See our webpage <www.siqual.com> for more information.
If you would like to know more about us, please call me at 503-885-1231.
Thanks and best regards
