From Sunny Florida on the West Coast,
where the Sun shines more than often:
My wife, Norma, and I moved to Florida about ten years ago from a little Massachusetts town called Duxbury, about thirty five miles south of the Boston. Haven't been back North since. "SCARY"
I started fooling around in radio when I was about 9 years old; I am now just shy of 60. My first project was an oatmeal box type of crystal set with a cats whisker, for which I used a safety pin and a piece of crystal. It worked once I put up a 120' long wire.
Of course that was the beginning, I studied for my Novice license, passed the CW, and became WN1CJS when I was 11 years old. .
I have always been involved in Electronics as a hobby, ever since my first adventure into the amazing world of Radio and Electronics. I never pursued my General Class License. But all that is changing now, I plan to go ahead and pursue it. So I can converse with the big guys on CW.
I am Married 37 years and have 3 fine kids, all of whom are doing fine. I must have done something right.
