In the last days of 1989, a good friend of mine told me about visiting Bounty when she was visiting the Chesapeake Bay.  He had talked to some of the crew and had inquired about available positions onboard.  I have John Vang to thank because if it wasn't for him, I would not be writing about my adventures aboard the HMS Bounty.

I receive the word early this morning from fellow crewmember Jeff Pendleton that fellow ship mate Tom Kumuda just recently passed away. Tom, you had a heart of gold and will truly be missed.
