As we all know, the technology of amateur radio has advanced a great deal over the years from the days of spark gap transmitters and crystal detectors to microprocessors and surface-mount devices.  In the rush of modernization, it is easy to forget the roots of amateur radio and the technology that made today's advances possible.
With the advent of the internet and the world-wide web, it has been possible to archive much of the history of this technology so that it is easily accessible for study and experimentation. It is possible to locate the old schematics and parts and recreate the circuits of yesterday that served us so well, and in the process gain a better appreciation of where we are today.

In the spirit of this endeavor, this website will attempt to provide some links to the rich heritage of amateur radio.
