 The QRP station uses a Heathkit HW-8 transceiver and an MFJ-8100 World Band Radio. This setup has worked stations at a distance greater than 1000 miles per watt on all bands above 40 meters. QRP is a lot of fun. It's amazing how far one watt of RF will travel. The antenna is a G5RV. QRP - When you care to send the very least! |
