Club Meetings

The Tri-Cities Amateur Radio Club holds a regular meeting the first Monday of every month of the year. Each meeting includes an amateur-radio-oriented program that will be of interest to most hams.

Regular Club and Business Meetings start at 7:30 pm and are held at the Red Cross Building, 7202 W Deschutes Ave, Kennewick. [ Map ] All individuals interested in amateur radio are welcome and invited to attend these meetings - you do not need to be an amateur radio operator!

• It's time for the nomination and election of club officers for 2009. I'm sure everyone is burned out on the national elections, but now is the time for change if you want it. Come volunteer or nominate for your club positions!!!

• Weather Spotters- Alan Polan, KE4TRR, is looking for General and higher class hams for HF net control operators to assist the NWS Weather Forecast Office with the newly formed weekly Pendleton Skywarn HF Net. • ARES NET Check into the Benton/Franklin ARES Weekly Net every Sunday evening at 7:00pm. The net meets on the 146.760 MHz repeater. If the repeater is busy or down, our back-up repeater is the 146.640 machine. Both of these repeaters use a 100 Hz PL tone. If you are interested in becoming a net control operator for the net, contact EC Rick Edwards . A Net Preamble (DOC) and check-in log (XLS) are available for the net.
