Your callsign has a special meaning to me and hundreds of GIs. W7BA was held by a guy by the name of Lloyd in Seattle, WA. Lloyd handled hundreds of messages from GIs all over the Far East thru the Kadena AB MARS Station KR6AF at which I had the pleasure of being one of the volunteer operators. We would run phone patches in the evening (Okinawa Time) and last but certainly not least, Lloyd, W7BA would meet me and pick up all of my formal message traffic from GIs stationed in the Far East. I hope you had the pleasure of knowing Lloyd. Thanks for letting me spout off. 73 de W5CEP
