What is Amateur Radio? Click here to view the ARRL introduction to Amateur Radio. If you are new to Amateur Radio, check out the Links pages to learn more about it.
The Australian Intermediate Amateur Radio licence, which I have held since 1981, is obtained by passing a "full call" theory exam, a regulations exam, and a 5 WPM Morse Code - CW - sending and receiving tests. The "full
call" licence requirement is the same as the Intermediate licence with the exception of the Morse Code test, which is 10 WPM sending and receiving tests.
These web pages contain links to some of the best sites within various fields of Amateur Radio. These are summarised below and are accessable through the links page.
On the download page, you will find a simple but effective Morse Code trainer program that I wrote, plus various designs for BayCom style Packet Radio Modems that I have found. The latest version of WinPack, the Packet Radio program by Roger, G4IDE, is also included for download. Also on the download page is NBF - a packet radio program from OH1NBF.
