About Us
The Chinese Cultural Club (CCC) is an official club at Markville Secondary School registered with and approved by the Student Activity Council. Our goal is to raise awareness of the Chinese culture and to contribute to the Chinese community within Markham and the Greater Toronto Area through charity work, community involvement, etc. With meetings held every other Thursday, we provide a place for those who wish to learn, share, discuss, discover and celebrate the Chinese culture. Our club is open to everyone attending Markville who holds a valid SAC card.

Our meetings include fascinating presentations conducted by members who wish to share their knowledge about the Chinese culture and China. We also have exciting movies and videos to show, as well as planned traditional Chinese cultural games & activities. Past activities held by our club includes our booth at the multi-cultural fair to promote and educate students about the Chinese culture and our club, our participation in the Chinese/Korean New Year Celebration in partnership with Markville's Student Activity Council, as well as helping out at and advertising for the Canadian Cancer Society's Chinese Cancer Information Forum. Please also visit our pictures page. The Chinese Cultural Club continues to strive toward enriching the Chinese culture and planning great events for our club members, school and the community.
