Amateur Radio is a hobby that I have been interested in for a number of years. I was first licensed with the callsign VE1AHU in 1967. My current callsign VE1DB was issued to me around 1980.
Some of the modes of amateur radio operation that interest me are Single Sideband (SSB), Packet Radio, Radio Teletype (RTTY) and slow Scan TV (SSTV)

The Antenna System
The Antenna System consists of a 40ft heavy duty tower with a TH3-Jr 3 element beam. Mounted above the tribander is a homemade 4 element quad antenna for 2meters.
