CQ WW VHF CONTEST July 2000

As I am writing this as I am sitting in the car trying to make some contacts in the CQ VHF contest. Band conditions are pretty poor on Sunday afternoon. Last night was pretty good though. On July 9 from around 12:30 UTC to 2:30 I had great opening on 6m from EN94. I was working VE1 and VE9 with 5/9 (both ways). I made contacts in FN74, FN65, FN75, FN84 and FN85. I was using a TS690 50w in to a magnet mounted vertical. Yes I know that I should using a horizontal antenna, but when the conditions are good it doesn't seem to matter!
